Setup Guide

Step 1: Activate Your Authorize.net Account
Click the activation link from your welcome email to verify your identity and access the Merchant Interface at https://login.authorize.net. This is where you’ll manage your payment gateway settings.

Step 2: Complete Account Details
Fill out your business, billing, and banking information. You’ll also create a secure login ID and password. The account owner can later add new users with various permission levels.

Step 3: Disable Test Mode
Once you’re ready to process real transactions, sign into the Merchant Interface, go to Account → Test Mode, and switch from “Test” to “Live.”

Step 4: Generate API Credentials
To connect your High Wire Payments merchant account to your Authorize.net gateway, generate your API Login ID and Transaction Key. Never share these keys via email. Once your keys are generated, plug them into the appropriate spots in your gateway’s back end.

Step 5: Set Up Security Settings
Configure fraud prevention tools like Address Verification Service (AVS), Card Code Verification (CVV), and Daily Velocity Filter. Use these to block suspicious or high-volume transactions.

Step 6: Customize Your Settings
Adjust your Time Zone and Transaction Cut-Off Time to match your business hours. Use User Administration to add staff with limited access, and Virtual Terminal for manual transactions.

Troubleshooting Activation
Didn’t receive your activation link? Check your spam folder or contact High Wire Support to resend. If the link doesn’t work, try copying and pasting it directly into your browser.
